Just a drummer who taught himself to play piano, then bass guitar, then guitar and now trying to figure out how to be a better singer...
Writing songs about life experiences...
This song took a long time to write.
I wrote the music and chorus years ago and finally decided to complete the verses recently. Wasn't sure I would ever release it, but here it is...
Initial review of the song:
A haunting and emotional song about carrying painful memories, struggling to stay silent, and longing for escape. Through dreamlike imagery and a plea for wings to fly, it explores trauma, resilience, and the search for peace beyond hurt.
Deeply personal song written as an apology to someone who was once close.
I have struggled with severe migrains my entire life and this song came to me 3-days into a painful migraine and deep reflection where everything seemed to hurt (second verse).
Here is what an online review thought of the song:
The song 'The Cliffs' by Harrison Scott portrays a sense of regret and disconnection in a relationship that has taken a toll. The metaphor of falling off a cliff symbolizes the irreversible damage caused, with the singer expressing hope for reconciliation despite feeling trapped in their emotions.

I remenber every moment and every expierence that led me to write this song. I wrote this song for somone very important in my life and yes, that is her on the cover...
Here is what an online review thought of the song:
The song 'Moments Like This' by Harrison Scott reminisces about the first kiss and moments of bliss shared with a loved one, emphasizing the deep love and commitment in a relationship. The lyrics express gratitude for the support and love received, highlighting the significance of cherished memories and the enduring bond between two individuals.

Well, what can I say. This song really has several parts to it. The first half of the first verse came to me watching Tom Brady during a football game, hence the term GOAT. The second half is about a restaurant near my house called Makers & Finders in an area called DTS in Las Vegas. There is a beer on the menu named "Disco Ninja IPA" and I thought it would be cool to write that into a song somehow.
"Run Rabbit Run" well, there are little rabbits all around where I live running all over the place... During the bridge of the song I wanted to find some kind of chant that said something about rabbits and I couldn't find anything so I made it up to sound like an African chant.
Lastly, someone told me I should try to write something upbeat and fun, so there it is...
